The topography here consists of gently rolling hills situated within 45 minutes of the Tampa International Airport.
You will discover several kinds of golf communities. Some have age-restrictions on their residents and some do not.
Community Categories:
1. Non-gated: either Private-Membership or Public Courses where your home can be adjacent to the Golf Course.
2. "Gated" Golf Course communities have streets which are either public or privately owned by the residents. Many gated communities allow their residents to have their own golf carts which can be driven to and from the golf courses and other amenities such as restaurants, driving ranges, tennis courts, pools, clubhouses, etc.
3. Other communities, gated or not, require that golfers rent a cart for each round of golf. These are great for those who are not seriously "addicted" to golf.
