For the past week i have attend several meetings in the county. It seems there is alot of talk about programs that are coming down from everywhere. It looks like august from the state where they will be loaning up to 8ooo dollars in advance to use for your home purchase which in turn you will sign over your federal tax credit to them when you receive it from the government.as we know existing home sales seem to be on the come back which is good news for everyone. Back to school is around the corner which should be good for the retails and we will be going into the fourth quarter for most companys.General Motors should start selling cars again which should help everyone who has a job that is related in some way to their employer.Remember now is the time to buy that home you always wanted with prices where they are today, one of your best ways is to work with a realestate agent who has the knowledge and expertise to help you along the process.

    Charles,

Excuse me brother for seeing the glass nearly empty when you obviously see it as full but General Motors is closing four plants, laying off 30,000 workers and discounting every piece of high-mileage junk they have. Their management has ruined them and continues to do so; believe me I sold GM cars for five of my 10 years in the car business. As far as the eight grand used for a down payment all it means is that, like the No-Doc loans of yesteryear, the borrower has to put no money into buying a home and how does that make him feel when he sees the home values continue to decline and the rentals in his neighborhood leasing for less than his house payment? Brother, optimism has its good points but you can only stretch the truth so far. Truth can be eclipsed, but only for a time, it can never be extinguished.

    Peace,

    Keith G.

    • Keith, we all know that things are going to get alot worst once the government stops putting money into everything that is about to fail,Aig looks like its not going to stay afloat much longer.the auto dealers are having record sales right now but what will happen next year when they have to meet those numbers and no more government help!! oh boy!!
