I like to report the “positive” side of the economy. The National Association of Realtors reported that sales of existing homes rose to 10.1 percent in October to an annual rate of 6.1 million — the highest level since February 2007. Analysts had predicted only a 2.3 percent gain for the month. They credit the 8,000 for first-time home buyers as one of the reasons sales were up.
Let’s keep going buyers – they extended the credit – no time better than the present! Give yourself a holiday present; buy that home you have been waiting for. Also, buyers who want to move up – you can get a $6,500 move up credit if you owned your home for more than five years. Call a realtor today.
