Yes, that’s right!  If you have owned your last home and was your primary residence for at least 5 years, you too qualify for a tax credit of up to $6500!  The income limitations for move up buyers are the same as first time home buyers and they are; $125,000 limit for individuals and $225,000 for couples!  One more thing, the cost of the new home you are purchasing cannot be more than $800,000.

Hernando County is the perfect place for 1st time homebuyers and there are plenty of homes to choose from that would not exceed the $800,000.  Now seems like a perfect time to start home shopping.  The move up buyer would also have to be under contract by April 30, 2010 and must close no later than 60 days after or June 30, 2010!

Prices are right for all buyers..and sellers if you’ve been on the fence about selling, don’t miss your window of opportunity to list your home now.  The sooner you get your home listed with a Realtor from Tropic Shores, the better your chances of  selling it will be.  If your reading this blog right now, your just one of many who enjoy the information we put out there for our buyers and sellers!  The buyers will be in continued full force from now through the end of April.  So don’t wait, jump on board before it’s all over!

We always keep you posted.  Have a great weekend and enjoy!
