My husband and I decided we would take a ride up to Ocala. We live in Weeki Wachee, Florida and Ocala is “horse country” and about an hour away from us. I googled Ocala to see what we could do and there was something different for us – a scenic horse drwan carriage tour.
It is our 33rd anniversary and we went to Tampa Friday night for dinner and when I saw this Saturday morning, I didnt tell my husband, just told him I had a surprise in Ocala. He of course, thought it was lunch. We arrived and Mary, the tour operator,had her beautiful horses harnessed to a very pretty carriage and she took us down the road and told us all about the thoroughbred farms. She knew it was our anniversary and she supplied a bottle of champagne. It was really a lovely afternoon.
Sometimes doing something on the spur of the moment and different really makes the day.
