From what I have gathered, the intentions of the county are to pave all of RH due to the limestones not being a healty "Green" to our environment. Once upon a time Spring Hill roads were not paved as well. I do not believe Realtors are to blame for the amount of lots and homes sold with false promises. That area was saturated with investor buys who wanted to make a quick flip. They did not care if the roads were paved or not, what color the home was, etc. However they have been paving Thrasher and that is a start.
I agree that RH is a fantastic area and I believe it is the up and coming especially with the beautiful two story brick High School. Yes, you will have dust but for $100k home on .50 acre lot and most never lived in, I'm in!

Road paving is done with impact fees. Impact fees can only be used on collector and arterial roads. The limerock roads are residential. Perhaps if fewer realtors had sold lots and homes in Royal Highlands with false promises of road paving, we would not see this question over and over again. My taxes should not be used on somebody else's limerock road. We have a program in the county where residents can petition to have a road paved if they agree to split two-thirds of the cost. The county picks up the other one-third as an estimate of what limerock maintenance would cost over future years. This is fair to landowners and all taxpayers. Kwitcher bitchin', please!
