Alva is to the north east of Fort Myers by a very easy 30 minute drive along the Caloosahatchee river. There are 2,200 people who call this town home and are very happy to show you around. This town has been here since the late 1800's and not a new development. There are plenty of great southern homes and a lot of small town history here, so if you are an ape with any interest in southern traditional homes, take a good look at Alva.
