Cities in Duval County FL
A north Florida seacoast beach is as close to perfect as you can get and that puts Atlantic Beach near to the top of that list. You only need drive 30 minutes from Jacksonville International Airport to reach this wonderful slice of north Florida. While the winter weather can cause temperatures to drop to the mid 40’s, the summers settle into a perfect mid 80’s, making for a much more hospitable area for summer vacations than the hotter areas to the south.
There is also more to this town than the beach. Folks here are busy apes with plenty of places to enjoy being outdoors. There are enough parks, municipal baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and tennis courts… Well, let’s just say that the younger apes (and the more mature apes with an athletic bend) will not want for something to do when the sun is shining!
As with most of north Florida, there is less tourism but this means more focus on the local community. And that is something most apes would be happy to have.
