Cities in Duval County FL
Located almost due west of Jacksonville along I-10, Baldwin is a town of 1,200 folks who enjoy being close enough to Jacksonville to be able to vote in their elections, but not so close that they get bothered by the city apes.
Baldwin has strong associations with local history, having been a major rail and telegraph hub during the civil war. Rebuilt after the war, the town still has a feeling of old southern charm, with the same strong ties to farming and supporting local activities and an overall air of southern sensibility. This is a place where the word “neighbor” still means something, even if that neighbor is a mile or so down the road. Do you have something to add about this City?
