Cities in Lee County FL
When you are talking Gulf Coast beach town, you are talking Boca Grande. Located on a barrier island on the Gulf side of Charlotte Harbor, this popular vacation destination is accessible by one road from Port Charlotte after an easy 45 minute drive. In regards to driving, make sure that you fill your tank before getting to the island. There are no gas stations in town, and you wil have to share all but two roads there with electric golf carts. These are smaller and really do make more sense in this town. You can rent one while in town looking around and all you have to do is prove you are over 14, and if you can ever get a golf cat to do a doughnut let us know. It's just something we've always want to see, but our mom keeps telling us no, so we thought we'd get you to try it for us.
Vacation homes are one of the biggest reasons to look at the beach side community. We'd list how many people live here, but that varies by time of year, so it's best just to accept that it's a town with two populations and let it go at that. If you are looking for a seasonal place, this is an amazing place to put up your hammock. Do you have something to add about this City?
