Located on Pine Island only 45 minutes west of Fort Myers, Bokeelia is the northern most town on this island. While the island is in the center of Charlotte Harbor, it is behind several barrier islands and is accessible by a full causeway to the mainland. This gives the 2,000 residents fantastic access to the larger metro area while enjoying the relaxation of island life on Florida's Gulf Coast. This is a vacation home center but there are more permanent apes as they discover that working and living on Pine Island is more practical than they originally thought
