Cities in Broward County FL

Originally a train stop in the early 1900’s, Deerfield Beach was officially incorporated as a township in 1925. It pretty well remained the same way until the late 1940’s when tourists discovered the amazing waterfront. Since then, tourism has been a staple of the area and the native folk are always there to assist out of town apes so they can relax and enjoy the sand.

But if you think this is just another tourist town, think again. This is home to the Women’s Professional Volleyball Association Tour and if that wasn’t enough, try handling the Superboat Power Races! But, if all you want to do is sun worship on the beach, go right ahead. The town has lifeguards on duty at the amazing “Blue Wave” beach throughout the year, from 9 am to 5 pm. So grab your drink in one paw and sunscreen (or bananas) in the other! Just try not to confuse the two.

Being almost mid way between Miami and West Palm Beach, this is also a spot where businesses discover a wide variety of opportunities.

From residential to commercial, this seemingly off the radar place is where the smart apes go surfing.
