Cities in Clay County FL
Doctors Inlet is only half an hour from the center of Jacksonville with easy access to I-295 and the Jacksonville Airport. One of the best features is Doctor’s Lake. This is actually an inlet, but don’t tell the apes who use it for water skiing and fishing! This also gives you access to the Saint John’s River, which is Florida’s longest at 350 miles. And just to be different, the Saint John’s River is one of the few above the equator to flow northward.
So be unconventional! Take a look at Doctor’s Inlet and you’ll be sure to find a place to tie off and put a line in the water while the Florida sun eases your apish cares away.
