Cities in Franklin County FL
Eastpoint is in the middle of the Florida panhandle on the Gulf coast. The name comes from the town of 2,700 folk being on the eastern point of land behind the barrier of Saint George Island. The best way to get here is from Tallahassee to the north east along route 30 if you have an hour to kill.
What’s to do in Eastpoint? Well, bring a fishing pole, some scuba gear, sunscreen and a cooler. This is white beach heaven for the water apes and what’s great is that with Saint George Island only 8 miles away, you can enjoy full access to the Gulf waters without having to deal with the migratory apes during the winter months. The locals take care to provide bead and breakfast places for the seasonal visitors and enjoy the peaceful breezes when others further inland have to deal with humidity.
Take a serious look around. The entire area is made for vacations homeowners or the true Floridian ape in you that is trying to get out. Do you have something to add about this City?
