OK, this is Hollywood, Florida style. Perfectly situated between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, you can get there via the Lauderdale – Hollywood International Airport, by driving on I-95, or taking a casual cruise along the beach.

Now that you know how to get there, what’s there to do in Hollywood? A better question is what isn’t there to do! The most obvious is romping on the beach. With multiple boat rentals, you don’t need your own boat, but if you want to buy, there are numerous places to do that as well. Water Skiing apes will love the water here. If you want to just find a spot to lay on the beach and enjoy the atmosphere, with five miles of beach, you’ll never lack for a spot for your towel! Once you are done relaxing and playing there is also the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, enough golf courses to keep the most avid club-wielding ape driving and putting till the family declares you missing.

And there are restaurants galore here. With a strong international community, you can find food to suit your every craving. Mediterranean, Latin, Asian, Caribbean, Irish, you name it, you’ll find it here.

Now this is not to say that there aren’t family friendly aspects to the area. With numerous public and private schools, the ape with family can find just the right fit for their offspring. With a large multi-cultural diversity, there is also opportunity to meet and mingle with lots of people from all over the world.

And to make life easier, the city is implementing free outdoor wi-fi access to all residents and visitors. As one of the 12 largest cities in Florida, this makes finding what you need and getting to it much easier.

There are more than 130,000 residents in the city itself, but when you add in the entire metro area, there are five million sun loving apes just waiting to meet you.
