Cities in Collier County FL

If you thought Immokalee was another small Florida town, you might need a second look. Located an hour northeast of Naples, this town hosts it’s own airport, so travel to and from here is a breeze.

So what is so special about this small city? Well, we could start with the farmland that surrounds it. There are enough tomatoes here to keep any chef smiling. Of course there are plenty of other crops grown locally, so if you ever feel like eating frozen vegetables again, you obviously missed a turn somewhere. Once you go Immokalee, and particularly the farmer’s markets, you never go back.

And what else is there to do? Well, ask the folks headed to the Immokalee Seminole Reservation and casino. A lot of apes wisely head to Florida to retire, but no one said retirement was the end of the fun.

You can find a lot in this city of 20,000 working apes. Just come on out and look around. There’s plenty worth staying for.
