Half an hour drive to the south east around the shores of Tampa Bay and you arrive at Island Walk, which is actually a development towards the end of the canals at Apollo Beach. This gives you the almost instant access to the waters of the bay without the cost of maintaining a dock of your own and having to worry about those pesky dolphins asking you for handouts. We don’t have anything against all the dolphins, but seriously they need to make up their minds. Real mammals have fur, like us apes!

The living cost of Island Walk is lower, but the space is limited and you should not wait too long. As the size of Tampa grows, prices are sure to increase. Best to get in early.
