Cities in Hamilton County FL
Jasper is the county seat of Hamilton County and home ot almost 2,000 people. The accent here is pure southern US. You can hear it in the way people say hello and with the warm sun and the easy way of living. This is a working town with the largest business being mining, but there are farms and small businesses enough to keep you stocked in the essentials. When you need something special or just want to get out and about, you can get to Tallahassee to the west on I-10 at an hour and a half. Jacksonville sits the same distance to the east and Gainesville is south on I-75 with the same dime on the road. This puts Jasper in the middle of three of Florida's largest commercial centers, so you can get to any of the three airports with equal ease.
If you want a small working town in the south to start a business, or put roots down to relax and be a good old south ape, come to Jasper. It's close enough Georgia so a mint julep on the veranda would ot be all that out of place. While you are at it, pour a couple for us since you have to get some practice with the famous Southern hospitality. Just don't tell the relatives where you went.
