Lady Lakes is a collection of smaller communities just to the northwest of Leesburg, which puts it an hour from Orlando and 90 minutes from both Florida coasts. When you have that kind of location and are in the middle of several hundred small fresh lakes that supply an endless number of places to swim, fish and generally enjoy living in the Florida sun, there isn't much the tourist traps can offer to lure the wise ape from home.

This is a smart place to live and even smarter to invest. The growth thanks to the increase in retirement aged apes and the desire for people to generally escape the winters of the north means that even a simple bed and breakfast can succeed here. A hotel called “The Big Hairy Ape Cave” sounds good to us!
