Cities in Columbia County FL
When the phrase “at the center of it all” was coined, Lake City must be what they were talking about. Located at the junction between I-75, leading north to Atlanta and further south into Florida, and I-10 heading westward to Alabama and Mississippi, this it truly a crossroads. With a strong agricultural community, the crops are varied and include corn, peanuts, cotton, melons and timber. There are also companies that use the area’s natural bounty and convenient location to manufacture and distribute goods throughout the US. This is a city ready and able to get to work.
There is also a fully functional airport that services large craft for both civilian companies and the US military. While some small cities have felt the crunch of recent economic issues, Lake City has kept growing. Sometimes a little slower or faster depending on the rest of the country, but this is a city looking to get down to business and it’s ready for you! Do you have something to add about this City?
