Cities in Highlands County FL
There are no figures we could find on the official population of Lorida, and to tell the truth we almost could not find the place at all. If you want to drive there, the best route to make sure you find it is to first get to Okeechobee, which is the town on the north shore of Florida’s largest fresh water lake. Then take Florida Route 700 north for roughly half an hour. On the north east point of Lake Istokpoga is a collection of farms, fish hatcheries and lodges. This is Lorida. There is a lot more on the map than that however. We just couldn’t find enough information to give you an accurate read on the place!
We think that the local apes like it that way. With all that lake to themselves, it looks pretty comfortable to be living here. Small towns in Florida seem to have two sides. The one that makes you feel welcome when you get there, and the one that gets a good laugh out of hearing how hard you had to look to find the place. Do you have something to add about this City?
