The residents of Mount Dora live on one of the highest points of elevation in southern Florida. These 12,000 people are situated 43 minutes northwest of Orlando at the dizzying height of 184 feet above sea level. It’s a gradual climb up hill, so you might not need much more gas than usual. In fact, we suggest leaving the Sherpa guides behind and attempting the summit alone.
