A bustling little beach community, Pinellas Park, Pinellas County, Florida is conveniently located within minutes to all the big city life amenities that Tampa Bay has to offer. "The Father of Pinellas Park", Frank Allen Davis, frequented the Pinellas area in the late 1800's for American Medical Association meetings, as he had heard that the Pinellas peninsula was the healthiest place in the world. After purchasing 21 miles of land between St. Petersburg and Largo from entrepreneur J. Hamilton Disston, Davis established the Florida Association. Through the Florida Association, Davis was able to promote his land holding for sale to other medical professionals throughout the country. By 1911 Pinellas Park was named and a bustling community began. Today, Pinellas Park is home to nearly 50,000 residents and that figure doesn't include our winter friends!
