Originally settled in 1861, Scottsmoor was originally a farming community. A popular tourist area in the early 20th century, there are still signs of traditional hospitality in this small community of around 2,000 people. But don’t let it fool you into thinking there is anything isolated about the place. Interstate 95 is right around the corner and you are only an hour from Orlando, and about half that to Cape Canaveral.
