As the name implies, Sea Ranch Lakes in Broward County, Florida is right on top of the water – seriously, it’s so close that water-loving apes will be tickling their toes in no time! This is a small village of about 1400 residents located on Highway A1A neatly between Pompano Beach and Lauderdale by the Sea. For security-minded apes, the town offers a large gated community with nearly no crime. There is also a very nice shopping plaza and a beach that only locals may enjoy. In fact, all the parks, roads, and lakes here are owned by Sea Ranch Beach Club.

Note that Sea Ranch Lakes homes all have septic systems but for the shopping district, which has a sewer that connects to Lauderdale by the Sea. All power lines here are buried to avoid issues during storms, and also to keep the view of the water and sunsets free for all apes to enjoy.
