OK, when you get to Sun City, do not honk your horns at the people driving golf carts in town. Here, there are so many golf courses and retirement communities that the 16,000 residents realized long before the rest of the country that small electric vehicles for getting around town was a smart idea. So they made it legal to drive them in town during daylight hours. Right smart bunch of apes if you ask us. You can drive your gas guzzler from Tampa down I-75 south for around half an hour to get there, then get yelled at by the golf cart drivers to get off the road.

That shows that this small city of mostly single homes and condos for retired apes is ahead of the curve. Looks like age does indeed bring wisdom. That’s a great thing because the sand isn’t going up the hourglass for us, so we know were we’ll be headed when we retire. Sun City sounds pretty darn good to us. We just hope someone will remind us where to go when the time comes.
