Cities in Brevard County FL
Just so we are swinging from the same branch, this is the Suntree on Florida’s Eastern side, not the one on the West near For Myers. This Suntree can boast of being home to Boston Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield, who leads the team in longevity in uniform and is second only behind Roger Clemens in wins at Boston’s famous Fenway park. And he’s not the only athletic ape in Suntree! Father and son, Cecil and Prince Fielder have roots there, as does professional wrestler Devon Hughes (a.k.a. D-Von Dudley). So sport-loving apes have a chance of catching sight of some of the best athletes the US has! Who knows, maybe one of them might end up welcoming you to the neighborhood.
As you might expect, there is a top ranking Country Club and golf course, The Suntree. Established in 1975, this course firmly designated the area as a true “golfer’s community”.
Far from being all country clubs, you are well within reach of Florida’s greatest areas to enjoy life. The beaches, of which there are more to name than you could remember, are almost as easy to get to as the shopping and fun of Orlando, Cape Canaveral and multiple nature preserves.
This is more than a place to get away from it all -- it is a place to get to the things worth getting to any time you want! Do you have something to add about this City? Please feel free to add your stories, comments, experiences, great places to eat, worst places to eat, best parks, worst park, nice neighborhoods, bad neighborhoods, we want to know!
