Umatilla is located an hour to the north of Orlando and an additional ten minute drive time to the south west of Daytona Beach. Along with it's proximity to the Ocala National Forest, this small town of 2,500 people is a fisherape's paradise. In fact, you will find that almost any outdoor activity is here, including just being able to take a good long walk in the woods without having to make a trip just to take that walk.

Both Orlando and the beaches along Florida's east coast are close enough to visit when you want,but not so close that you will have to deal with the traffic during peak tourist season. That sounds like a good deal to the Big Hairy Ape.
