Vero Beach is not as well known to the world as places like Daytona Beach or Miami, but that is not because there is a lack of quality of life or excitement to be had in this Florida east coast city. The location in central Florida gives the perfect balance between the more humid north and the generally hotter south. This balance has made the area a very popular tourist and “snow ape” destination during those times when the northern states freeze over. During the rest of the year, residents enjoy the usual pastimes. Golfing, boating, laying on the beach wondering why they didn’t move here sooner. Those are activates any reasonable ape can understand once they set their toes in the sand here.

Vero Beach is also home to one of Disney’s beach resorts and residents throughout Florida can purchase yearly passes for well under $400 (at the time of this being typed, no promises as to what the mouse will do in the future.) and living in Vero beach means you can visit any time you want without having to make travel arrangements beyond which of the relatives who is visiting will pay for parking.
