Cities in Brevard County FL
A planned community with an eye towards attracting families, Viera was a concept created by Andrew Duda when he came to Florida in 1912 with his family from Czechoslovakia. In the 1980’s Mr. Duda’s family began selling homes to families that wanted a beautiful place to live and the community has susequently grown to almost 20,000 residents.
Don’t mind the dust, because this community is still growing. With new homes and businesses coming up, this is a bustling residential area, with space for all the apes you care to raise.
Viera is also home to many of Brevard County’s government buildings and offices, so getting to the department of motor vehicles will be a snap. This, of course, is offset by the presence of two 18 hole golf courses and the amazing Regional Park, which has five baseball fields, two softball fields, two outdoor basketball courts, four tennis courts, all of which are lit. There are also more than a half dozen soccer fields, an amazing 18,000 square feet community center/gymnasium, and three playgrounds! After the DMV, you’ll need someplace to blow off some steam and this place has it all. Do you have something to add about this City?
