At the northwest corner of the Tampa metro area is Westchase. This town of 11,000 people is only twenty-five minutes from downtown Tampa. Add in having Old Tampa Bay itself five minutes closer and you have a grand place to enjoy nature. By the way, the Brooker Creek County Preserve is due east. We did say that you would enjoy nature here. Add in the Westchase Golf Course and Tampa downs race track and you have perfect Florida living here.
