Cities in Broward County FL
Wilton Manors derives it’s nick name, “The Island City”, from having the north and south branches of Florida’s Middle River border it all the way around. Being just slightly north of Fort Lauderdale, this home to slightly more than 12,000 apes keeps a very upbeat attitude. With one of the most diversified mixes of cultures, there is a mindset towards tolerance and encouragement of all people. Variety is the spice of life in Wilton Manors!
Being surrounded by waterways, an ape who loves boating has to stop and take a look at the moorings. There is a municipal boat ramp that makes Wilton Manors perfect to get you floating and water skiing quickly and easily. Add in a dog park and your four-footed pals can enjoy living here with you.
At the west end of the neighborhood is I-95 and that puts you within 40 minutes of Miami International Airport. With that in mind, this is one of those very accessible areas from which to get around, while still giving you a sense of being separate from the main stream, so come on down and grab a banana daiquiri and put those paws up.
