Cities in Union County FL
Worthington Springs, named in honor of Sam Worthington, and early settler, is located in the Southwestern portion of Union County, Florida. Incorporated in 1961, Worthington Springs has remained the same small rural community since the 1800's.
Known in the late 1800's and early 1900's for its medicinal spring water, visitors would come from miles away to rejuvenate in the springs and relocate to the bountiful waters. In 1906 the spring stopped flowing and the visitors stopped coming.
Worthington Springs is perfect for those looking for acreage and prime farm land.
