This really isn’t a city, it’s a part of Tampa defined by I-4 to the north, Adamo Drive to the south, between 22nd Street to the east and Nebraska Avenue forming the west side. Back in the early part of the 1900’s this was the cigar center of Tampa and people from all over the world came here for work. Today it is the artist’s community and night spot for Tampa. If you want to party, Ybor is where you go!

Living here is pretty easy, but half the area is businesses, so be ready to deal with the sounds of the city. Even more so, be ready to not bother with having to find a place to park. The Tampa area public transportation makes getting around amazingly convenient and street cars on tracks still run here. We’ve said that country living in Florida is great, but when you want to live in the center of something to do, take a good look at Ybor City. This place is swingin’ and that’s what apes do best!
