Hello from Maine! I am a soon to be resident of Florida thanks to the help of my realtor in Florida, Mark Holden. When I made the decision to move "south" to warmer weather I knew researching and finding a property over 1,400 miles from my current home would have its challenges. What I didn't know was that the COVID19 pandemic was beginning and would add another layer to the challenge. Being a sellers market was also much more of a challenge then I expected. The houses I was interested in were under contract before I could even get down to see them!Mark was absolutely amazing at watching the listings as they came up and alerting me to any he felt met my criteria very quickly. He went to open houses (prior to the stay at home orders) to video and prescreen for features to help narrow my search. Based on his attention to detail, familiarity with the area and understanding of my criteria (location location location and land) we were able to narrow in on and successfully complete the purchase of my new home in Florida within a few months of beginning my search.Having a realtor who truly listens and is knowledgeable about the market, area and options available was key to keeping this process as stress free and on track as possible.
